From its first year, Savour Tasmania events have sold out in the first weeks of release.
To date, the festival has attracted internationally acclaimed chefs Emmanuel Stroobant from St Pierre in Singapore, Shane Osborn from Pied a Terre in London, Marcus Eaves from L’Autre Pied in London, Paco Rancero from Casino de Madrid in Spain, Alvin Leung - the 'Demon Chef' from Bo Innovation in Hong Kong, Philippe Nouzillat from Brasserie Wolf in Singapore and Martin Bosley from Martin Bosley's Restaurant in Wellington, New Zealand.
Joining the cast of international chefs were Australian culinary icons Lyndey Milan, Rodney Dunn, ‘Fast’ Eddie Halmagyi, Maggie Beer and her co-star on the television series The Cook and the Chef, Simon Bryant all whom shared their talent and knowledge at Savour’s inspiring Masterclasses.
Building on the inaugural event in 2009, Savour Tasmania 2010 extended the festival to Launceston and Burnie - making the event more accessible to foodies around the state and showcasing the biodiversity of northern Tasmania.
