Described as a little French and a little foreign, Margot is an avid traveller. She is inspired by the cuisine of diverse regions and cultures and translates her discoveries into her own unique and modern style.

Most significantly, Margot is passionate about working with fresh seasonal produce and her stimulating menu at Le Quartier Francais is layered with textures and flavours that change regularly in-line with the seasons.

Margot Janse has been included in the 50 Best Restaurants of the World over the past six years and was last year the only female chef to receive the award. Her interpretation of Tasmanian produce is sure to be a memorable experience.
